10 Months Old
For Avery, this has been a month of teething! You cut your first tooth what seems like over a month ago now but this second tooth has been brutal to say the least. We were trying to provide you with natural remedies but they just weren't cutting it (no pun intended), so we started giving you tylenol which seemed to really help. Finally, that stubborn sucker cut through just a few days ago.
There is this thing called stranger anxiety. You don't have stranger anxiety. Instead, you have Man anxiety. Any man, besides Greg, makes you uncomfortable (I guess) when he holds you. It's so weird; especially because you are a daddy's girl.
You are crawling, sitting up and just recently, lifted yourself into a standing position. You love fruit, hates veggies, and really likes finger foods. You haven't figured out the sippy cup yet but you'll try to steal a drink out of whatever anyone else is drinking. You love swimming and prefer the back float.
Anybody that has been around you knows that you LOVE music/dancing. You will rock your head back and forth even if there is no music just to try and get someone to sing to you. Once we do, we are bound to get a HUGE smile!
Zoey you are a "what's next" kind of girl. You've had this army crawl thing going on for like a month now but my guess is that you will never properly crawl. You are on to bigger and better things, like trying to walk and climb up the back of the couch and climb into the toy chest.
You also enjoy imitating people. You will clap when someone claps, you will wave hi when someone waves hi, you'll even say something that sounds like hi when someone says hi. You love to say "ta-da." We can't even get you to say mama or dada on command, but you'll do something that you think is awesome and you will look up, clap and say "ta-da"!
You love to roam around the house in your walker, you really enjoy just sitting and chatting with Kaboom and Weezy, you love most baby foods (especially yogurt) but you are still not so sure about regular finger foods. You can't get the dissolvable puffs in your hands and then in your mouth fast enough so, as a result, half of them end up on the floor. You also love to swim but prefer to kick and paddle your way to a toy than just relax in a back float.
For as much as you are on the move, you can also be very cuddly, which really makes you a mommy's girl. You love to hug. You will lunge yourself at someone and then once you are in their embrace, you will gently lay your head on their shoulder...it's so sweet!
Happy 10 Months baby girls!!! Mama and Dada love you more than you know!!!
