The Baby Shower

Now that we know we are having two girls, it is time to shop!!  We found some adorable dresses, halter tops and denim diaper covers from the GAP that should fit nicely next summer.  Memaw and Papa bought a couple cute outfits including some Puma shoes.  Auntie Shawna and Auntie Stacey bought “I’m as cute as my Aunt” onsies.  Grandma and Grandpa bought your cribs that blended so well with the surf shack theme.  Suddenly it all feels very real.

On August 28th, we had a lovely baby(ies) shower and it was a huge success!!!  It was held in Memaw & Papa’s beautifully decorated backyard, with vivid pinks, oranges and yellows all around.  The hibiscus flowers and warm weather made you feel like you were at the beach.  Everyone we love made it to the party and we received so many gifts that, truth be told, I had no idea if any of it would be used and, if so, how.
