7 months

You both are really starting to develop personalities, so while we didn't have any major doctor appointments with measurable results this month, here is the latest on your "growth":

Avery,
  • You are too pretty for your own good.  You have big blue eyes with long eyelashes and a smile that melts hearts.
  • You love to be cuddled and kissed by your family but especially by Grandpa Jim Jim.
  • You enjoy sitting and watching your sister and daddy act like goof balls.
  • You have fantastic hand coordination and love to play with toys especially those cube thingys with the different textures.
  • You like your pacifier but prefer to suck on your fingers, however, you get very frustrated when the wrong two fingers or your thumb end up in your mouth somehow.
  • Sometimes you get so hungry that you try to put both fists in your mouth (or maybe that's what they call "teething").
  • You have a special talent of releasing "bottom burps" on command when daddy lifts you in the air like an airplane.
  • You love to sleep on your side.
  • You love baths but could live without all the steps that come afterwards.
  • You really, really do not like peas.
  • You are louder than your sister but you don't "talk" as often.  Uncle Mike once said, "how does she make so much noise without even opening her mouth?!?!"
  • And, you seem to get upset when Zoey is upset.  How cute is that?!?!?!
Zoey,
  • You are definitely our fun-loving fire cracker.  Your laugh is so infectious that daddy will do just about anything to hear it!
  • You are constantly smiling.  You seem to think that part of a smile requires sticking your tongue out too.
  • You get a huge thrill out of being scared (not sure where you got that from), but there is a fine line, that past it, sends you into tears.
  • You are infatuated with Kaboom and Weezy and Tucker and Boozer; you could watch them for hours.
  • Your hair is just long enough to spike...ask Memaw and Auntie Shawna.
  • You roll all over the place.  We had to put bumpers in your crib so that your arms and legs don't get stuck between the crib slats.
  • You seem to like any kind of food at the moment and you enjoy making really loud noises when eating baby food (so mommy and daddy have no problems with you opening wide).
  • You're less into toys and more into rolling around on the floor and wrestling with daddy.
  • You like to sleep on your stomach and we cautiously let you.
  • Sometimes you like to just stare at Avery as if to say "are you a reflection of me or what's going on here?"
Happy 7 months to my baby cakes!  I can't wait to see what's in store for us next!
